We have been getting a lot of people interested in our ducks, so we thought we would give them their own page. We keep about 20 female ducks and three drakes here. We just about always have something for sale, whether it be ducklings , teens, or adults.

The Muscovy found on farms today traces its ancestry back to the wild Muscovy, a
perching duck indigenous to the tropical regions of Mexico, and Central and South
America. All other domestic ducks - including the white Pekin and the comical Runner -
are derived from Mallard stock. Domestic Muscovies are large, well-muscled ducks. Females weigh in at about 8 pounds while the drakes can reach 15 pounds. Extremely self-reliant, these birds will forage for grasses and weeds, and their healthy appetite for flies, mosquitoes, slugs, snails, and even mice and snakes make them very handy to have on the farm. Meat wise, they are the finest duck available and have a unique taste that is both meaty and flavorful. Muscovy meat is one of the healthiest meats available, being 98% or greater fat free. Their eggs are rich and considered a delicacy.
